The Paper Industry has shown a
revolutionary change over a period of years. This substance used by generations
for generations initially fulfilled the purpose of writing and printing. It then became popular among the masses, in
the form of fashionable bags, pretty lights, printed tissues and of course
origami. Now available in various colours, prints, textures and effects- the
fashion industry has given ‘Paper’ a whole new meaning.
A wonderful paper adaptation that I’ve come
across recently has been the paper
jewellery.
Papier, the paper industry, by Usha Nair Pithawalla is one such unique brand that makes stunning paper jewellery.
Initially I was unsure of this entire concept. However, when I came across
these skilfully crafted pieces, done in variations and styles, I grew fond of
it.
Feather light, the jewellery with its
trendy designs can decorate almost any outfit. I chose to wear it in a
semi-casual manner . The dual shade (pink + purple) of the neckpiece
compliments the bold electric blue maxi dress. To tone the outfit down I wore
the white crochet jacket. The beige and white heels along with the midi rings
give a desired finish to the outfit. The contrasting blend of white and
electric blue makes the outfit appealing.
