This winter has been all about the Wedding Season of
love and purity. With a drawer full of beautiful decorated invitation cards,
the main concern worrying us girls is 'What to wear?' Finding Lehengas too mainstream and
being a wedding guest to many big fat weddings, this post is all about the other various styles of
traditional outfits you could carry off with elegance and trend.
Starting with the Ink blue, ombré, full flaired
Anarkali - ombré has been gaining high popularity currently. This colour along
with a silver embroidery and hot pink finishing gives a rich effect to
the entire outfit for the Reception.
A trio of hot pink, coral, phirosee blue and a thick dark wine velvet border, this suit is on the heavier side. I love it's stunning low back covered with net and accentuated with a peacock patchwork. This outfit speaks volumes for itself and is apt for the Feras even without a dupatta.
The coral high-low dress fits perfectly into my list as the Pool Party attire. The delicate cream, crochet work makes it dainty and the bright coral adds to its chicness.
The wine hued dress with brocade design on the top, has a floral drop detailing highlighting its top section. You can easily slip this on for the Mehendi, or even wear the bright pink Anarkali that is floor length with a self dupatta. The intricate zari dots and silver pita work on this pink Anarkali creats a look of sophistication.
After the options of ombré, pita work, brocade
designs and fresh colours in Anarkalis, we have the yellow and pink jacket
style dress. This with its unique jacket style and flat gold embroidery job
gives an undertoned yet smart look. The self velvet belt lining makes
it more graceful for a musical Sangeet.
Followed by this, We have an innovative and bold Kurti dress for lighter functions and Cocktail. This hot pink pleated Kurti dress can be teamed up with heavy Indian jewellery or worn simply with a designer belt. An experimental trend in the fashion industry, it makes you look uber stylish.
Finally, after covering everything, how can we forget the Engagement! We have the blue, A-line, long kurta with white thread pattern effortlessly woven on it. It is accompanied with a white net Sharara having flair and making it look only fuller. This is finished with a subtle copper touch.
Now, flaunt that Indian charm, add your essence
of fashion to the season and Stay Stylish.
Nice post! Love the pool party outfit!
