24 things you did not know about me
1. I turned 24 this year (You
would be knowing this through the crazy number of Instagram stories & posts I put up). My
birthday falls on 22nd February and I’m a Piscean.
2. I have been working in the hospitality sector with JSM Corporation Pvt Ltd for almost 3 years and handle Corporate Sales for the following brands:

- Hard Rock Cafe
- Shiro Mumbai
- California Pizza Kitchen
. 3.This is my first job after
acquiring a degree in BMM from Jai Hind College, Churchgate and doing a couple
of Internships with Le Pain Quotidien, Zee News, ElSol Strategic Consultants
etc
4. That brings me to the conclusion that I am not a full time blogger. With work and my blog I also juggle between freelance PR and content writing.
5. I did my Junior College from Jai Hind, studying Commerce and continued to be there for 5 years of my life. I have shifted 3 schools and passed out from St. Gregorios High School, Chembur
6. I am a Maharastrian. Now I’m sure many of you must’ve figured that by my surname. However 90% of the people including the various colleagues and photographers I have worked with thought I was a Punjabi! Also, I predominantly converse in Marathi at home and LOVE the Maharashtrian cuisine, especially my mother’s Puran Poli
7. The one person I genuinely look up to is my Mother. I have not seen a woman as sacrificing, giving, loving, beautiful and strong headed as her! I get my sense of style from her. Everyone who doesn’t know that she’s my mother often think that she’s my elder sister!
8. Many of you also ask me if I’m into Modelling. I have done modelling in college and didn’t have a thought or chance to professionally pursue it. I was an active part of all my inter & intra college fashion shows. I did not only walk the ramp but also designed the costumes and choreographed the shows. I guess almost all of us become an all rounder after participating in the BMM fests
9. Infact, My first earning and gift to myself was when I won the best model award in an inter college festival of St Andrews College called XYZ. My prize was the new Black Berry Curve Phone worth 11,000/-
10. I have one sibling and I thank god for giving me his company. Chirayu Deshmukh is my little brother and is wayyy cooler than me. He also feels and treats me like his younger sister. This is why he actually is wayyy cooler than me. Chirayu, I hope you are reading this
11. Most of you know this one. I’ve been in a committed relationship since the past 8 years. Wow, that sounds long while typing! If some of you are still guessing who the guy is, please feel free to browse through my Instagram feed
12. I’m a trained classical dancer with a 9 years experience in Bharatnatyam and someday I wish to do my Arangetaram! I’m also a level 2 Salsa and Jive dancer and a level 1 Bachata dancer
13.I still do not know how to drive and that is one thing I want to tick off my to do list
14. I am completely left handed and am always running late. If I need to get somewhere with you, you need to inform me to be there 30 mins prior to the time. No, I’m not acting cool, I’m just being honest. This is something I really want to work towards this year.
15. I loovveeee Pizza & Pizza is literally > Bae or Bro or Gym for me
16. Though Pizza is the love of my life, my favourite cuisine isn’t Italian but Pan Asian. I can have a Dimsum, Sushi, Thai Curry & Pad Thai meal anytime and everytime. I am a big foodie and a hard core non vegetarian. I enjoy trying out various dishes and playing with flavours

of darkness and ghosts. Yes, I do believe that good & bad spirits exist
18. I do not have a sweet tooth. So #dessertporn does not work for me that much. I’d any day prefer fried & junk food over desserts
19. I am not a brand conscious person. Just like I would love to carry certain brands, I would love to take a stroll to places like Sarojini Nagar & Colaba Causeway and make purchases. In fact currently I have become an online shopping addict
20. If someone would ask me my favourite piece of clothing. I wouldn’t have an answer to that. I personally love experimenting with various styles within my comfort zone. My favourite colour depends on my mood

19. I am not a brand conscious person. Just like I would love to carry certain brands, I would love to take a stroll to places like Sarojini Nagar & Colaba Causeway and make purchases. In fact currently I have become an online shopping addict
20. If someone would ask me my favourite piece of clothing. I wouldn’t have an answer to that. I personally love experimenting with various styles within my comfort zone. My favourite colour depends on my mood
21. I do complete justice to my zodiac sign by being a
water baby, a dreamer and a sucker for romance. I love the idea of surprises,
ballroom dancing, typical proposals, Marine drive & rains and all the other
cliché romantic things.
22. I am a total filmy person and a complete Bollywood buff. From the dialogues to the songs and dances, I’ve followed and mastered all of it. If you dance with me on recent Bollywood hits like ‘Swaag se Sawgat’ and continue dancing till numbers like ‘You are my Soniya’ are played, you will become my best friend!
23. I strongly believe in the Universe and Karma. What goes around comes around. If things are meant to be, they will always fall into place. I am a very goal oriented person. For me to finish any task, I need to have a plan and set deadlines. This acts as my motivation.
24. If there is something I will not miss out on in my life, it would be travelling! To travel is to grow. You only know then that your life is a small part of the entire world that has so much to offer. Travel does not limit you to boundaries. I love to explore the interiors of India as much as I love to travel abroad and explore the various countries, their culture, fashion and cuisine
